Flexible tubes
Flexible tubes are recommended when installation around obstacles such as air conditioning ducts or electrical wires within the attic space is required. They are the most accessible product to install because of the maneuverability of the material.

Rigid tubes

Sun tunnels come in and 22”. However, because of their sizes 10” 14”, the most common size, the 22″ is rarely used in residential areas. It is mainly used in large rooms or commercial spaces.

The Cost For A Sun Tunnel Installed
The actual solar tube item will cost between $600 and $1,000 per tube, and the installation will cost roughly $800.00 to $1,000 per tube, depending on obstructions or the roof system. However, you may need to pay extra for adapters if your roof is made of metal, tile, or material other than asphalt shingles. A sun tunnel won’t let in as much light as a traditional skylight, but it still provides enough light to brighten dark rooms in the middle of a home. That’s why you need to think strategically about the room in which it’s installed. We recommend sun tunnels for rooms in the middle of a house without windows for natural light, hallways, and bathrooms.
The Installation
Our procedure is to go to your home and find where you would like natural light for you. Then, we would go into the attic, access the area for difficulty, and provide an installation price. Once we agree to proceed, we will cover the floor area for protection and then cut a hole into the ceiling; after that, we will install the top part of the sun tunnel on the roof. Once both parts are prepared, we will enter the attic again and connect the two. The typical time frame is half a day, and you enjoy the nice bright natural outdoor light in your laundry, closet, or hallway.
