Approved Church Roof Replaced
Approved Church Roof Replaced, was replaced while the church continued its services. Additionally, while kids from K through 12 attended the Christian school, we diligently protected them during class transitions and afternoon pick-ups. We never experienced an incident or a nail in a tire when parents picked up their children. The owner of Florida Roofing and Renovations Inc. takes great care and pride in ensuring safety when replacing roofs on condos, apartments, and churches. One of the most critical aspects of roof replacement in areas with foot traffic is having a spotter, such as someone who monitors for anyone walking near the area that has been roped off.
Florida Roofing and Renovations Inc. has replaced many roofs while businesses or churches actively have tenants, with customers and children walking around or through renovation sites. We have never filed a general liability claim for anyone harmed on one of our projects. Many roofing contractors in our area can replace a roof, but very few can do so while protecting the property and pedestrians like we do. We care and act accordingly while on the project premises.
Approved Church Roof Replaced With Awesome Shingles
Using what we believe to be the best shingle available today, we installed MAJESTIC SHAKE by Atlas Shingles—the 2025 shingle of the year. We wrote about Atlas shingles in great detail here. In addition to replacing the shingle roofs on the sanctuary and classroom buildings, we also replaced flat roofs with a 1/4″ tapper roof system, which shed off the water instead of sitting on the flat roofs. After that, we installed a Certainteed SA self-adhered low-slope roof system.
Installing Crickets
There were areas where the design, or the addition of additional buildings, caused water to collect on the roof in what is commonly called dead valleys in the roofing industry. We built crickets to force water out from these dead valley areas. Cricket is sometimes small and sometimes large, with as little pitch as possible so as not to be seen from the ground. These crickets will direct the trapped water off the roof. On this church, we had to build a few; one in particular was over 30 feet long.
