New Roof In Windover Farms

Florida Roofing and Renovations Installed a new roof in the Windover Farms community of Melbourne. In addition to a new roof, this homeowner had us enlarge their back porch by extending their roof line out in preparation for a future pool where they would have more space for family gatherings, combining the porch and pool area.

When replacing the existing roof, this is the best time to renovate the house structure. After removing the existing roof, we checked the plywood decking and replaced any damaged wood decking. Then, the deck was covered with self-adhered underlayment, commonly called Peel-N-Sick. We then installed 130mph lifetime shingles by Owens Corning.

The picture show how we were able to do large spans. Larger porches or room additions require specific engineering and a contractor experienced in how to build such a project.
