House Stucco

Change the appearance of your house with new wood siding, cement board siding, vinyl, or stucco. Or a combination of each. After replacing all the damaged wood, we can install any siding you prefer over your old wood siding. Each has its own pros and cons. For instance;

What We Install

  • Stucco can give the home a more Florida style with the texture of stucco. Arches can be added or columns to transform your home from a wood box to elegance.
  • Cement board siding gives a horizontal clabbered look. The gables can have Hardie plank boards, and the exterior walls have stucco.
  • Lastly, vinyl siding gives a beauty that lasts many years without painting.

T1-11 is a product that comes in 4′ x 8′ size sheets like regular plywood. It was used in the 1980s – 1990s on wood-framed homes, but it would rot at the bottom of the siding sheets at the ground level. Due to moisture, lawn care, and other factors, the boards continued to rot at the bottom.

Our Procedure

Our meticulous procedure involves removing all damaged wood siding and/or exterior wall studs, replacing any damaged wood, and preparing for stucco installation. We then apply wire lath and undergo an official building inspection. The final steps include priming with a stucco primer and applying a coat of quality exterior paint. Stucco is a popular choice in Florida due to its durability in our climate, but it does require repainting after a few years. This could be a great opportunity to refresh the look of your home.
