Surfside Playhouse Roof Replaced

The Surfside Playhouse Roof was replaced in Cocoa Beach, Florida, using Atlas Pinnacle® Pristine shingles after the WeatherMaster® self-adhesive underlayment was installed on the decking. This underlayment provides a secondary layer of waterproofing protection against damage caused by extreme weather. Beginning in 2023, Brevard County required roof wood decking to be covered with a self-adhered underlayment before under the shingles.

The Playhouse has special theatrical performances throughout the year. Due to their planned events, we had to schedule the roof replacement to avoid interfering with any plays. Once we agreed upon a timeframe, we completed the roof and ensured the grounds and park areas were thoroughly cleaned.
