New House Flat Roof

We are installing this new flat roof on this house with the reliable and durable self-adhered roof system called Flintlastic by Certainteed. First, we installed the base SA (self-adhered) and then applied the drip edge on top of the base. All the drip edges were primed with the recommended primer on the flat roofs. Once the flat roof base foundation is ready. We can apply the SA (self-adhered) cap sheet over the flat roof. The flat roof material is installed up the pitch of the house roof under the shingles, covering a minimum of 16″ for a complete seal. Self-adhered products like Flintlastic have replaced the traditional torch-down material on flat roofs. SA systems provide a better seal since the system is fully adhered to the wood decking.
